I have been fortunate to study with some of the best drum teachers in the world through my studies at Berklee College of Music!

Here are some of my mentors : Dave DiCenso, Rod Morgenstein, Jerry Leake, Alberto Netto...

I have been teaching since 2013 and worked with students from all walks of life, I try to focus on learning songs that you like and develop custom made exercises for each of my students based on their abilities and where they want to go musically.

About Aleksi G.

I've been playing drums for more than 15 years and started teaching 7 years ago. I had the chance to study classical percussion and jazz drum set at Noisiel Conservatory in France. I also graduated from Music Academy International of Nancy, one of the best music school in Europe.
I was teaching and playing in many projects in Paris before I moved to the US to study at Berklee College of Music. There I studied Music Production and Engineering with drum set as my principal instrument. I then moved to New York and worked for 6 months at the legendary Electric Lady Studios, first as an intern and then as a General Assistant. I now play in 2 bands (Boyish and Carol) and work as an assistant engineer for different studios. I also teach 3 days a week at Guitar Center in Queens.
