As a music educator, I have worked with a wide range of clients, from around the world, from beginners and intermediates to advanced professionals including establish and emerging recording artists, bands, singers, songwriters and touring and studio musicians. I am a faculty member of the National Guitar Workshop and Workshop Live, the Web's ultimate online music education resource site. As a studio and touring musician, I have worked with a long list of artists including 2011 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, Leon Russell, having sung background vocals on his 2007 record release, "Angel In Disguise." As a singer-songwriter, I have appeared on radio and television stations and at premiere music venues across the U.S., released four independent records and been a regular performer at New York's The Bitter End, CBGB's, Wetlands Preserve, The Living Room and Mercury Lounge, and at Nashville's The Basement, The Bluebird Cafe, Mercy Lounge, 12th & Porter and The Listening Room. As a songwriter, I have had more than one hundred (100) cuts including single and music video releases on recording projects with a wide range of recording artists. Since July 2010, a venture into music licensing has yielded fifty (50) synchs including fifteen (15) on primetime network television stations including FOX (The Good Guys), NBC (The Firm), FX (The Comedians), Amazon (Hand of God), A&E (Crazy Hearts: Nashville), USA (Burn Notice: The Fall Of Sam Axe - USA Original Movie), MTV (Real World: St. Thomas) and Oxygen (Bad Girls Club). As a writer/producer, I have worked on projects with Haden Carpenter (Big Smo, A&E-TV), Amy Wilcox (Crazy Hearts: Nashville, A&E-TV), The LiNE (The Voice, NBC), The Worsties, The Wailin' Canes, Ben Cyllus, Tara O'Grady, Sam Hunter and Linda Emerson, and have enjoyed fourteen (14) song synchs on primetime network and cable television stations including FOX (The Good Guys), MTV (Real World: St. Thomas), A&E (Big Smo, Crazy Hearts: Nashville) and Oxygen (Bad Girls Club). As a music professional, while in New York City (1996-2004), I spent four years working at Sony Music Entertainment. While keeping track of record producers, engineers, mixers and remixers worldwide for Sony's head of A&R, music legend, Peter Asher was my main gig, I worked on many projects for Columbia Records, Epic Records, Sony Classical, Legacy Recordings, Word and C2 with executives in the A&R, international, promotion, business affairs and legal departments responsible for launching and guiding some of music's biggest recording artists including: Bob Dylan; Barbra Streisand; Tony Bennett; Harry Connick, Jr.; Maxwell; The Neville Brothers; Billy Joel; Bruce Springsteen; Pink Floyd; Mariah Carey; Jennifer Lopez; Marc Anthony; Destiny's Child; Beyonce; Kelly Rowland; Jessica Simpson; Jeff Buckley; John Mayer; Train and Five For Fighting. I am a BMI writer, and my songs are published and administered by Over The Bush Music (BMI).
