I have been practicing Pilates for over a decade and teaching for about seven years. I like to incorporate my rigorous, traditional training (from the world's oldest currently-running Pilates studio) with a more fluid, fun, and contemporary approach. I recently started my own business after leading a team of twelve instructors as a Pilates Coordinator at Equinox, where I worked for five years. I love Pilates because, no matter your skill level, it can inform your other movement practices and make them better. Whatever your fitness regime is, from rock climbling to simply chasing after your kids, Pilates can make you a more skilled athlete with a more balanced, better functioning body.
