I am a professional violist, chamber musician and orchestral player, as well as a professional teacher and chamber coach. Students can expect to see improvement in their sound, intonation and feel more comfortable on their instrument within a week of regular practice. I can help students find and gain confidence in themselves. I encourage parents to be involved in the lessons and their students learning. I teach violin and viola to all ages and levels. I have experience with teaching beginners, group classes, intermediate levels and advanced, as well as adults. No one is ever too old to start learning! I like to create a unique goal setting plan for each of my students based off of what they would like to accomplish and have the student be involved in the thought process behind my teaching strategies so that students know exactly how to practice when they are at home. As a professional chamber musician, I travel to Denver, Miami and Banff quite often for rehearsals and performances, as well as collaborations with living composers and quartets such as JACK, Eybler, Bozzini and Parker Quartets. I find chamber music so fun and rewarding because I get to collaborate with some of the coolest people in the world and share incredible music with people around me.
