Hi, my name is Abi. I'm an University Professor. I've been teaching Piano (Classical, Jazz, Latin & Blues), Jazz Harmony, Song Writing, Film Scoring and History of Music since 1993. I have a Master Degree in Jazz Piano Performance from San Jose State University. My GPA at SJSU was 4.0. I love to teach music and improvised Piano styles in a way the student could really relate with the logic and essence of this beautiful Art Form and be aware of his/her own skills' development in the process. Everyone has a different pulse/rhythm and pace; hence, I don't believe in an hard template when it matters to teaching. I DO believe in an unique personal and proactive approach of the teaching/learning process. Only you decide what and when to learn, and how far you want to go with your music. Because music is Art, no a Sport. So why rush when you can truly enjoy the learning process? An ancient parable says: The slower you learn, the fastest you'll Succeed. TRUE. Happy Music Life.

Abi is a true master of the piano, both with classical and jazz, as well as patient, funny, and able to approach concepts and techniques with a variety of approaches, all while tying this in with musical examples from both past (ancient and relative) and present - he is a true educator. As a jazz and Latin jazz pianist, I truly feel lucky to know and have learned from him and will continue to do so!
