About Aaron H.
I am an undergraduate student at the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. I am double majoring in Music Education (vocal) and Composition. I am a countertenor/tenor with experience in violin. As a composer, I have written works for the St. Charles Commmunity College Symphony Orchestra (Paintings (2013)) and the Opera Workshop (Conversations With A Dream (2015)), the Words + Music program (Lyric Opera of Kansas City) and the Centerstage Theater (Grapes of Wrath (2013)). I've had music published in the Mid Rivers Review (2013) and receive performances through UMKC's Composers Guild. As a singer, I have sung with the SCC Opera Workshop (2011-2014) , SCC Show Choir (2011), and done solo work. I have recieved instruction from Professors Gene Ditch, Erin Haupt, Catherine Murray, Becky Thorn and countertenor, Jay Carter.
As a violinist I've played with the SCCSO, Lindenwood Symphony, and MMEA 2013 All-Collegiate Orchestra.
