About Timothy
With a background in computer science, music writing/recording, and video games I've put all my skills together to create my own video games using Unity 3D and Microsoft Visual Studio. Already having one game on Google play, I am currently working on a full scaled Action/RPG for XBOX and Steam.

I am interested in teaching students what I've learned and help inspire them to use their imaginations to create virtual realities such as beautiful breath - taking landscapes to daunting, lurking dungeons. Also you'll be learning how to program with up - to date technology that can even take you to a career job in Software Application Development.

I do require that you have your own Desktop / Laptop.

Extraordinary Talent!

Tim is one of the most well balanced musicians around. His lead guitar technique and understanding of the fretboard is unparalleled. If you want to learn any stringed instrument, especially the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, or mandolin, Tim is one of the best teachers around. Patience, wisdom, and years of experience recording, performing, touring, and teaching have crafted an energetic, positive, true lover of music. I have learned fingerpicking, slide guitar techniques, and song after song from his teachings. Tim has been the most influential musical voices in my life. A+

Helping me take my playing to the next level and beyond.

Tim is dedicated to helping me become a better musician, and comes prepared to teach at every lesson. There is no doubt he knows his stuff, and is great at communicating loads of information in a digestible way. He also makes the lessons fun which is what playing music is all about for me.

I've had many guitar teachers in the past, and I rank Tim among the top. Really glad I found him and looking forward to learning more and more under his guidance.

Play on!

About George
I am so glad you’re here!

The music lessons for young children are full of fun, interactive activities with iPads apps and traditional methods that not only help develop a strong musical foundation and build essential life skills, but offer a unique bonding experience for you and your child.

Discover for yourself why families love my innovative music lessons for kids.

YES! Music Matters!

The curriculum is built on research that proves MUSIC MATTERS. Music affects virtually every aspect of development and when young children are consistently engaged by music during the “musical window” they benefit at many levels.

What about private lessons?

Do I believe in private lessons? You bet! But I know from experience that private lessons are most valuable for older kids who have the ability to concentrate in a one-to-one setti
ng.

With this Private setting you will have a solid foundation in keyboard skills and music theory and typically excel quickly in their continued music education and when learning other instruments. The education and experiences a child has in my music program sets them up for success with private instruction.

Music Program

Builds spatial-temporal reasoning skills critical for greater success in math and science studies.

Music students out-perform non-music students on achievement tests in reading and math.

Music students receive more academic honors and awards than non-music students.

Develops social and emotional skills including the ability to relate to others and better express ideas, and less likely to have behavior/discipline problems.

I offer up to 2 recitals a year so that you can perform everything you know.

Feel free to reach out and let's setup some lessons.

Thank you, George F.

George, was very patient, kind, and seem very knowledgeable. He seems to understand the pedagogy of teaching to kids and realize they all learn differently. I personally think he went above and beyond for my Son first class and for our first introduction. He offered a more modern approach method of teaching music and Piano to my son who so far seem more receptive in learning and practicing. Will se where that take us but I am very please so far.

About Christine
I tutored student-athletes in college while earning my BS in microbiology with minors in chemistry and Spanish. After graduation, I tutored at a state college working with high school and college students. I have also privately tutored students of all ages and levels. I earned my MS in biomedical science and was a substitute teacher. I have experience as a middle school science teacher in OCPS.

I enjoy the learning process and the interaction between instructor and student, working together to solve problems and figure out concepts that were not clear before.

I have done well in history and English, but I feel more comfortable tutoring in algebra, chemistry, biology, statistics, and Spanish.

As with all services, please give accurate, timely feedback to your tutor. We are educators and if you are satisfied or dissatisfied with ou
r work, please tell us! We all want to help our students and we cannot do that effectively if the student does not speak up about what they need.

If you enjoy what you're learning and you feel like you're making good progress with your tutor, say it!

If you feel like your tutor is not helping or is not a good personality fit, say it!

Thank you.

Christine was very instrumental in my B in statistic. I could have gotten an A had I been smart enough to engage her services at the beginning of the semester. She was very patient and knowledgeable and wouldn't let me give up on myself.

But I am committed to go to 2200+ USCF player (National Master player). I have won several chess tournaments as well.

I am currently coaching 7 students to go above and beyond their expectations. If you hire me as your coach, I will take you above and beyond your expectations in the game of chess. I graduated from Kutztown University of PA in 2013 with a B.S. in Biology: Molecula

Matt is amazing. My husband and I never played chess before and after only four lessons we knew all the basics and could play a game. We were so delighted with our progress that we signed on for more. Matt is fun, friendly and a pleasure to learn from.

About Daniel
First off, I am a music teacher with a degree in psychology who owns my own web development business and performs magic shows at parties and events. Can I get any weirder? Yes? Oh... Still here? Great!

At my core, I am an entertainer. I have been performing music and magic for over 10 years in front of audiences and crowds ranging from my family to nearly 10,000 random people. I started music at the age of 5 and magic at the age of 9. I do my best to make my lessons interesting and engaging. I have no problem teaching out of a book or creating a home-made learning plan for you based on what musical path you want to go down.

Do you like classical music? Make sure to come Bach every week for your next lesson! Do you like music on the radio? Don't You Worry 'Bout a Thing! Do you want to play in a band? Hold your applause until
after the lesson! Don't know what you want to do? Don't feel bad because I am still figuring that out for myself.

My piano lessons will be taught to you from my own bedroom. I have a Kawai Studio keyboard that I will hook up to a board with a microphone to give you some top quality sound. I have a single HD webcam for now but will eventually purchase another one so that I can have 2 views to swap between (myself and my hand on the piano).

On the side, I also help tutor Psychology and teach website development. If you are interested in any of these lessons, feel free to ask me questions!

Some Of The Things You Will Learn While Taking Music Lessons With Me:
- Complete understanding of The Circle of Fifths
- All 12 + 12 Major and Minor Scales
- The 9 most commonly seen chords (Major, Minor, Second, etc.)
- How to read sheet music in both Treble and Bass Clef
- How to read lead sheets and chord charts
- How to keep time and develop your internal metronome
- How to improvise your own music with just a chord chart
- How to use the piano to visualize music theory in your mind
- Practice writing down your own music onto staff paper
- Practice not letting distractions mess you up when playing
- How to know what to play when in a band/group

My 13 year old son took piano lessons from Daniel. My son's knowledge, skills and interest grew as a result. Daniel was able to teach him fundamentals while allowing him to learn some pieces of his choice. Daniel kept him engaged and interested. It was an all-round great experience. Now, my son performs in the marching band at his high school and plays a number of instruments.

My adolescent grandson took piano lessons from Daniel for 3.5 years and learned enough to become a life long lover of music and has continued to enjoy playing this instrument. Daniel has a great rapport with young students.

Daniel Craven is an amazing teacher. He is a kind and helpful person you love to be around. I strongly recommend him as a performer (he rocks!) on any instrument. Guitar, drums, and he's the best piano player I've ever heard. I also recommend him as a teacher. This guy knows what he's doing :)
