A Better Way to Learn
Teaching since 2010
High School Diploma from Fresno University High School
I've had the opportunity to help many high school and middle school students with geometry: writing proofs, developing logic skills, memorizing important theorems and properties of geometric figures, and using basic algebra skills. I also prepare students for the numerous geometry concepts included in the SAT, ACT, ISEE and GRE math sections, so they can effectively apply their geometry skills to solve diverse problem sets. I am familiar with the geometry integrated with algebra in Math 1 and Math 2.

BA in Music with emphasis on Piano Performance from University of Southern California (USC) Thorton School of Music
Music Jenny comes from a very musical family and started piano when she was five years old. She grew up constantly listening to her father practicing his guitar and brother practicing violin. Since then, her accomplishments include an Honorable Mention at the Korea Times Youth Music Competition. Sh
She has a wealth of knowledge in music. She was raised around music so it comes as second nature to her. Her experience definitely shows from theory to technique, structure to general perspective.
Jen's wide-ranging experience allows her to accommodate different learning styles. Even when I was unsure of which methods were most suitable for me, she was able to determine an appropriate approach. Each lesson is tailored around your preference while still maintaining steady progress towards your goals.
She's flexible, patient, communicative, and fun to work with. Her versatility has made learning piano so much easier and more exciting for me than before. I'm always looking forward to each session. I've also been able to learn about other aspects of music, as she isn't limited to piano; she's knowledgeable of other instruments and teaches dance as well.
One of my favorite things about Jen is that, even though she's easy to work with, she ensures that I've truly grasped one concept before moving to the next. It's also always great to see her play (:

In 2016 I moved to Seville, Spain to begin my PhD in Philosophy and have continued teaching English in the same capacity. I am specially geared towards exam preparation (Cambridge, TOEFL, APTIS, etc). My intent is always to cater to the students needs. I am very dynamic in my classes and always try and have fun as well as move the student forward on their path to mastering the language. I am also bilingual in Spanish.
Although I was born and raised in New York, at the age of 23 I decided to move abroad and see different cultures and different experiences in life! I have always been interested in the unknown and have always had a wanderlust for new places. I began teaching in 2009 and have continued up until the p
