I have been teaching drawing since 2001..I am available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of drawing/painting skills. I specialize in wild life...
Students will have simple step-by-step instructions make it fun and easy to draw lifelike animal friends, Just start with basic shapes and follow the illustrated examples and they will be creating their own amazing masterpieces in no time at all.

About Kelvin
I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham.
I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str
ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc....
The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

About Emily
Hi, there!

My name is Emily and I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2015. I have loved helping my students become more confident in their abilities, push themselves creatively, and make beautiful works of art. I'm a genuine and fun-loving person with a down to earth way of approaching art. My teaching style is casual, modern, and tailored specifically for what you are looking for. From basic color theory to self portraits to light/shadow studies, I can help with whatever "weak areas" you want to work on!

I went to Texas Tech University in Lubbock and earned a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art with an Emphasis in Painting and Drawing. I am a practicing artist and actively exhibit in Dallas and the surrounding areas.

I look forward to helping you reach your goals! I have students of all ages and skill
levels so don't have any hesitations about reaching out for lessons. Feel free to send me a message and tell me about what you want to take away from your lessons.

Want to learn how to draw and paint and you don't know where to start? Interested in improving your drawing skills? I will help you to train your eye to easily see shadows/light transition to create shapes and volumes. You will master useful drawing and painting techniques that will allow you to express your vision. I'm working with graphite, charcoal, pen and ink wash for drawing and oil materials for painting. Shoot me a message to see if we're a good match!

About Mariana
I am a professional artist. I've been studying representative fine art at the Art Students League of New York since 2013.

My students can expect to improve week to week in their drawing and painting techniques. While gaining knowledge of the fundamental principles of perception—light, plane-structure, tonal value, perspective, proportion—students will learn to construct images that realistically and accurately interpret objects in space. This solid foundation will enable students to express their personal creative vocabulary more clearly and effectively.

I teach students of all different ages and experience levels.

My personal passion is realism in classical and contemporary art but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better artist!

Lessons with Mariana were very helpful. I started as a beginner and she helped me to learn basic theory behind drawing, as well as to develop my skills and gain confidence. I studied graphite anatomical drawing and advanced a lot in that technique since we started a year ago.

You will learn the foundation of drawing to advanced drawing in my class. I cover a variety of subject matter from still life to nature to figure drawing with charcoal, graphite, pastel, and ink.

About Roya
Hello Melissa,

My name is Roya. I am a professional artist and educator, and I’m a professor in painting and drawing. It would be my pleasure to teach you painting or drawing. Over the last 10 years, I have taught painting and drawing, including figure drawing and painting courses in universities and colleges.

I’m using 2 different teaching strategy based on my students interest.

In the first plan, I start to teach from basic to advanced technique; my goal at the beginning stage is to provide students with enough skills and technique that they can skillfully begin making art from 3- dimensional sources, not just copying from other arts.

In the second path, I start teaching any subject or technique that my student prefer like pastel landscape or oil painting portrait.

I teach a variety of technique, medium and styles from rea
listic to abstract, or any style that you prefer

After viewing some of my paintings she was spot on identifying bad habits and offered many ways to improve. She is immensely skilled as a diagnostician. She presented her points clearly and fully without being condescending. Very much worth the investment. Can’t wait for the next lesson. Due warning. She can assign homework.

Many people think they can't draw. I used to be one of them. Now, I know that everyone can draw, they just need to learn how to translate what they see into an image. We will start with contour, move into gesture, create the illusion of 3D form using value and color, composition and even create the illusion of space. We will use a variety of media including graphite, charcoal, pastels (oil and chalk) and even use paint. It's really lots of fun!

About John
Hello! My name is John and I can teach you to draw and paint. I am high energy, funnier than all get out, yet have a serious love of art. Let's explore not just the technical side of drawing/painting, but let's help you discover how to express your creative self!

How do you transfer 3D subject onto a 2D surface? How do you draw what you SEE and not what you THINK? Drawing is the ability to see and transfer accurately what you see onto your 2D area. There are many techniques and tricks from the drawing masters I have shown my students that are effective in improving their drawing skills. We will also delve into highlights and shading, and use various pencils and other mediums to enhance the drawing experience as well. Come and see that your drawing can improve tremendously with practice and the right techniques!

About Rita
I have been teaching and painting for a long, loooong time- since 1983, actually! I am also a professional mural artist and painter, and found that my painting improved many years after art school. I was frustrated back then and painting seemed so complicated! Is that you? I figured out, with my own research, the freedom and fun in painting. Your painting will improve week to week as we work together to apply nice color combinations, explore values, shapes, edges and so on. Are you interested in portraits, still lifes, landscapes, animals? Let's start with smaller painting sketches to learn the basics of color, shape and design. Then we will take it from there. You can and will succeed in producing paintings you desire!
