His goal as a teacher is specifically designed to help you achieve your goals as an artist and a musician.

This year Jason was also the Music Director at the National Guitar Workshop Day Jams Rock Music Day Camp where students ages 7-15 came out to form bands, record original material and master their craft. He also taught beginning to advanced guitar/ vocals/ performance and songwri

Jason has host student showcases/charity benefits where his students were able to get on stage and show off their new talent and perform with other musicians. It wasn't mandatory though, if you were just looking to come out and support there was no pressure other than to come out and have fun.

Jason has been transcribing for guitar and bass since the age of 18 and since then has become a master of the craft including both 5 line staff and tablature, hand-crafted exercises and deconstructions to better enhance the students learning. Artists and genres that Jason has experience with range from Classic Rock, Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Guns N' Roses, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Robert Johnson, Pierce the Veil, Paramore, All Time Low, Demi Lava to, Iron Maiden, Motorhead, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, The White Stripes, Green Day, Old Crow Medicine Show, Taylor Swift, Mumford and Sons, Bruno Mars, Rob Zombie, John 5, Audioslave, Rage Against the Machine, Van Morrison, the Beatles, AC/DC, ZZ-Top, Bullet For My Valentine, All That Remains, Ozzy, Black Label Society, Sublime, Aerosmith, At the Drive In, Type O Negative, the Black Keys, the Pixies, the Toadies, Black Sabbath, Jason Mraz, Lady GaGa, John Mayer and Journey.

Jason attended the University of Alaska, Anchorage where his degree is in Music and Business. He is constantly continuing his education with music theory courses as well as private guitar instruction. He attends guitar workshops and seminars by artists such as John5 and Kerry King who are known as some of the worlds finest guitar players. He reviews every day from a wide range of over 1000 sources working to become a better musician and instructor.

Another nice feature that you might enjoy from one on one sessions with Jason is learning the ability to craft and record your own songs using state of the art technology that caters to your own unique personality. There are no limits!

Jason teaches all experience levels from beginner to intermediate and advanced as well as artists that are signed to labels.

I have been teaching drawing since 2001..I am available for eager students of all experience levels and ages! I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of drawing/painting skills. I specialize in wild life...
Students will have simple step-by-step instructions make it fun and easy to draw lifelike animal friends, Just start with basic shapes and follow the illustrated examples and they will be creating their own amazing masterpieces in no time at all.

About Kelvin
I am a highly organized, outcome-driven and motivated professional musician and educator with solid experience in the classroom. For the past 25 years, I have been employed with Amati music academy and seven years on the faculty of University of St Francis.
I am very comfortable with all aspects of the current music syllabus, including teaching musical concepts (such as duration, pitch, dynamics, tone color, texture and structure) as well as performance, composition. I am fully qualified, with a Bachelor of Education in Music, Double Masters in music performance and education from University of Nottingham.
I am proficient in classical, jazz and Celtic fiddle violin and possess solid skills in piano (grade 8-13) Royal conservatory system.
Throughout my teaching career, I have been driven to help students achieve their very best. I str
ongly believe that music has the power to change lives – to enhance the social, cultural and spiritual lives of people, and serve as a profound medium of personal expression. Professional perform experience: The Chicago, Natalie Cole, Smokey Robinson, Three tours with Moody Blues, YoYo Ma etc....
The most important thing I look for in a student is communication skills, as well as talent. I like to nurture students and help identify their individual strengths, which is a key factor in shaping a musical persona that will make its mark both on and offstage. I do not advocate a uniform technique for all students. Physical differences and learning styles are always taken into consideration. Potential is as important to me as early achievements and experience. My goal is to help students become self-sufficient, discriminating artists. I discuss practice techniques often and develop individualized scale routines. I encourage initiative and expressive musicality as well as precision. Above all, music needs to bring obvious joy to the student, regardless of the difficulties.”

Deron C. has had over 10 years of experience teaching other how to use drawing materials ranging from ink to pencil to charcoal to chalk to oil pastels. Learn how to use these materials and more. Draw what you see whether the reference material is a photograph or a three-dimensional still life. Understand color theory and composition. Improve your creativity while improving your technique.

About Deron
I am a San Diego native and have shown my paintings extensively throughout San Diego. It wasn't until several years after I graduated from UCLA in 1994 with a Bachelors in Fine Arts, that I really tried to show my work in galleries. Most recently, my work has been in shows at Project X Gallery, The Museum of the Living Artist, The San Diego Art Department, Sanctuary Gallery, Limbo Fine Arts, and Sushi Gallery. I have just started to show in other cities, most recently at the Rialto Theater in Corpus Christi, Texas and The Nico Gallery in Seattle, Washington.

Along with my painting career, I have created children’s book and magazine illustrations, done graphic design work, and taught others how to express themselves creatively through art. I have been creating curricula for children’s art programs and teaching them. I also have been te
aching adults how to paint at the San Diego Art Department for the past 10 years and, in the past two years, with Painting &Vino.

Through my decade of teaching painting, I have honed a teaching style that encourages students to balance creativity and imagination with technique and skill. I strive to help students discover a process in which they are able to express themselves creatively while also teaching paint application techniques, color theory and the Elements and Principles of design. I am often in front of 50+ people at a time presenting my painting techniques within a limited amount of time.

I look forward to coaching you whether you're someone who hasn't painted since you were a kid or you're a seasoned painter who just needs a little help, encouragement or direction.

-Color theory
-The Elements & Principles of Design and how to use them
-The Creative Process

Her work has been shown in galleries throughout the United States and Canada, and is in collections worldwide. Lynn was so helpful in aiding me to complete a project I have been wanting to complete. She went at my speed (sometimes slow, sometimes hasty) and helped me with techniques I had no idea about and others I just did not know how to do well. I was working on a portrait of a young girl in a dress and she helped me create the pleats in the dress and work on the girl's complextion and hair. As a hobby painter, I am very pleased with my final product which I am going to give as a gift with confidence!

Learning to draw is the best foundation for any artist. I teach my students through various techniques and assignments to understand form and spatial relationships. This tool is what many artists refer to as the ability to "see." This will not only improve your accuracy but your overall skills as an artist in other medias also.

About Sondra
Hello future student :) My name is Sondra and I would love to help you achieve your painting goals. I have a wide range of skills, from abstraction to realism and many hues in between. I received my Bachelor's in Fine Arts from The Oregon College of Art and Craft, a school that gave me background in modern, conceptual art. I also learned and revered techniques from the old Masters, such as Rembrandt, who have a classic, timeless perspective on painting. I've heard it said that it takes 10,000 hours to become a pro, which is why I give my students a painting assignment from our very first lesson. I will get you started wherever you are in your level of experience. I'll help you learn to paint what you're looking at as well as develop your own sense of style when painting expressively. I have a great eye for color and mixing and my students
have felt this was a particular advantage of learning from me. I'd love to meet you and help you on your painting journey. So sign up with me today!

Learn design, proportion, perspective, line technique and proper posture.

About Rebecca
I'm a professional artist with a passion for teaching. I love teaching kids and have many years of experience in both public and private schools. I love teaching adults of all ages and skill levels and I am passionate about inspiring others to open up to the evolution of the creative process.
I have many years of private art training, from art lessons in my elementary school as a kid to private lessons and group workshops with master artists throughout my lifetime. My training has been versatile, as I am an artist with multiple interests, but my main focus is on oil painting-both plein air painting and studio illustration work. I am attracted to beautiful colors and the play of light and shadow. I paint in nature as often as possible, and on other days I work on turning landscape, figure and portrait skills into illustrations in the
studio. I like clean color, strong brushstrokes and creating a sense of flow and movement in my paintings. My goal in each piece is to create a world that the viewer will yearn to enter. The process of finding a sight in nature or hearing a story that moves you, or of having an incredible dream or vision, and then step by step, making that come alive on the canvas, is my biggest passion.

Want to learn how to draw and paint and you don't know where to start? Interested in improving your drawing skills? I will help you to train your eye to easily see shadows/light transition to create shapes and volumes. You will master useful drawing and painting techniques that will allow you to express your vision. I'm working with graphite, charcoal, pen and ink wash for drawing and oil materials for painting. Shoot me a message to see if we're a good match!

About Mariana
I am a professional artist. I've been studying representative fine art at the Art Students League of New York since 2013.

My students can expect to improve week to week in their drawing and painting techniques. While gaining knowledge of the fundamental principles of perception—light, plane-structure, tonal value, perspective, proportion—students will learn to construct images that realistically and accurately interpret objects in space. This solid foundation will enable students to express their personal creative vocabulary more clearly and effectively.

I teach students of all different ages and experience levels.

My personal passion is realism in classical and contemporary art but I firmly believe that great technique is essential to any and every style. I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better artist!
