I'm a professional illustrator, and an almost entirely self-taught artist. I've worked in comic books, illustrations for tabletop roleplaying games, concept design for video games, personal commission work, and even pet portraits. Few things get me as excited as being able to draw from imagination, and I believe that drawing skills can enrich anyone's life, whether or not being a professional artist is in your future. Jack got right into the lesson and spent the entire time instructing and encouraging my 9 year old. This was a Christmas present (one-time), but I’m signing up for additional lessons.

Jack has a breadth of knowledge across the discipline of drawing (and art creation) and the natural teaching ability to easily impart this knowledge to his students.
Whether a total novice looking for an entry into the world of drawing, or a practiced artist looking to cement their technique Jack is an excellent fit.
While an accomplished artist in his own right, it is his welcoming and unintimidating approach to his students that is his great skill (at least for the purposes of lessons) and often the most difficult thing to find in a teacher of any discipline.
