I started taking piano lessons at the age of 6 with an incredible teacher, Mr. Hamid Deihimi, owner and teacher at Irvine Music Academy. I continued to take lessons with Mr. Deihimi until I was 18 years old at which point he hired me as a part-time music teacher while I was attending the University of California, Irvine. Upon graduation I founded Piano Edutainment which has allowed me to express my two passions in life: music and teaching. Piano Edutainment provides online lessons for students all over the world! We combine Skype with an interactive teaching tool specifically designed for piano instruction to deliver highly effective online lessons. In addition to the live lessons, Piano Edutainment’s online learning center incorporates a series of instructional videos, learning games and group-based motivational tools to keep students engaged and motivated. Tarlon is an amazing piano instructor. She is very patient, friendly, and dedicated. She not only teaches me but my sister as well. She works well with people of all ages and is always on time! She uses many different techniques to best encourage people to learn. Tarlon gives good advice on how to play music, and provides fun and easy ways to practice reading notes.Thanks to her, my sister and I look forward to our piano classes every time! We are all very happy to have her teaching us.

With Tarlon as a teacher, I learned how to play piano beautifully. Tarlon always gives her 100% in teaching me and keeps me practicing. Because of her teaching methods and use of cool technologies and learning games, I’ve learned how to play very complicated songs! Learning online has been super easy. The software we use displays a virtual staff and keyboard right on my screen. It's as if she's sitting right next to me!
