My methods as a teacher begin primarily with emphasis on fundamentals, i.e Bow hand position, violin position. I emphasize the need to practice on a consistent basis. As in any walk of life, there will be little to no improvement unless you do so. I also believe in treating each student differently, however, as there are some who simply want to have fun and learn something new. I like to set goals and time markers so as to make sure students are progressing in a healthy manner.

I was born and raised in New York City. All my life I have been passionate about the arts and music is certainly one of my greatest passions. I started studying classical violin at the age of 6 at the Third Street Music school in New York. (studied under the Suzuki method). Along my travels as a student I have also attended music camps such as Kinhaven and Interlochen and was also a member of the New York Youth Symphony during my senior year in high school. Currently I make a living as a musician. I perform gigs around town as a soloist playing various genres - classical to pop.

I'm a beginning violin player. I had never taken a music lessons before. But instructor Tamboura, made it fun and was very patient with teach me. He was also very understanding when ever I had to cancel a lesson and was open to teach at the perfect time.
I'm planning to continue taking lessons with him, when ever I have free time.
