    About Joyce T.

I started playing piano at the age of 5 and I fell in love with it! I was active in my high school's choir team, entered competitions and was the pianist at one time too. After high school, I managed to get into University of Malaya and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts (Music), and have taught music for about 5 years to students of all ages. I'm well versed in the ABRSM and Trinity College syllabus and have prepped my students for the exams too. Apart from that, I do teach pop piano on the side and also how to play by ear. I have performed with my students onstage a few times, once for a charity concert for autism, so I do have experience grooming students for public performances. Recently, I completed my film scoring certificate at UCLA Extension and would love to teach whatever knowledge on composing for films to willing students.
