I was a full-time research technician in the Food Allergy Research and Resource Program, where food products are tested for various allergens.

I was responsible for sample preparation/tracking, buffer preparation, logs, and laboratory maintenance.

In psychology, there is a concept called 'flow.' In this flow state, an individual can become absorbed in the task at hand, and time seems to become irrelevant. 

Music is a wonderful way to find flow, and it can be found at any level of ability. The student is faced with challenges that s/he is perfectly suited to tackle - not bored but not overwhelmed.

In drum lessons, we will try to find that flow state together to match your abilities with challenges that inspire and delight.

My areas of knowledge include psychology, biology, and music (specifically the drums). Let me know what you're working on and I'd be happy to help.
