Drums with Cyrus Y.

My name is Cyrus. I am a husband, a father and a drummer since I was 4. I took my first lessons then and played through school, ultimately joining and playing drums in the US Army for a stint out of high school. I never stopped playing once home. Bands, recordings, productions, teaching etc. I've been assisting in surgery for many years since college to make ends meet, but music and drums have always been there for me. I’m old enough to know now what life wants out of me and I want to give back. I offer a studio atmosphere and curriculum based lessons. I am dedicated to keeping learning fun while still challenging your child. I've created an open, engaging and positive atmosphere for learning through diversity in study. I aim for structured coursework, but we all know every kid learns differently. The more diverse I can make the learning, the more circular the appreciation which further cultivates my students respect and admiration for the art.
