Book NowI wrote my first C program on MS-DOS 6.0, do you remember DOS? Or perhaps you never even heard of DOS. Let's just say I've been a C programmer for a really long time. I used to tutor people in CS 1 in college, their intro to C programming class. Whether you use C in Windows or Linux, I got you covered. I did systems programming in both Win32 and Linux. C itself is actually is very small language, it is just a very minimal abstraction on top of assembly language. So in many ways it is still semantically similar to assembly language. This is probably why many people consider C is a difficult language. Not because it is still to learn, but rather difficult to use. It's like chess, knowing the rules doesn't make you a master chess player.
Now I don't pretend to know every little obscure C trick there is and write the most indecipherable code, which by the way you should never do that. Writing unreadable code is a very bad thing for everyone. The reason people created high ...
