I am a professional violist who appears regularly in the Houston Symphony, Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, Houston Ballet, Grant Park Orchestra (Chicago), Bach Society Houston, Mercury Chamber Orchestra, La Follia Austin Baroque, Ars Lyrica Houston, and American Bach Soloists (San Francisco, CA). I also founded my own chamber music group called La Speranza, an ensemble that illuminates the connection between music and wellness through historically informed performances throughout Houston.
I help my students become confident violists through focus on proper technique and proficiency in musical language. Students can expect to become more fluent in all of their scales while learning how to express themselves through their solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire. My students have won college and high school scholarships, earned chairs in region orchestras and competed at the state level in Solo and Ensemble contests.
Each of my students receives tailored instruction based on their strengths, goals, and needs. I love watching my students grow into musical individuals, and I look forward to meeting you!
