I am a graduate of Kunitachi College of Music, one of the most prestigious music conservatories in Japan, where I studied classical piano. I also have a degree in jazz performance from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. For the past 20 years I have used this training to teach jazz and classical piano to beginning through advanced students of all ages. I am currently a faculty member at Great Neck Conservatory in Great Neck, NY. 

I love teaching young children and have a lot of experience with kids ages 4-7, including my 5 year old daughter. Early music education with a patient, caring teacher is very important and I am here to help.

Many of my current students perform for the NYSSMA music evaluation. If you are planning to take part in NYSSMA, I can help.

I also enjoy teaching pop, rock and blues. Many of my students bring in music from their favorite artist, movie etc. If you have a favorite song you want to learn, I can help.
