For each new student, I would spend some time getting to know each other and figure out the goal of learning. Then, after getting to the actual playing, I would give suggestions and demonstrate for further improvement. Lastly, I will assign an appropriate amount of exercises for students to take home and practice :)

About YIDAN S.
I am currently studying music performance and music education majors at UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music. I have been teaching since six years ago. I have also participated in various music-related activities such as tutoring, participating in clubs, volunteering in local churches, etc. I'm willing to help anyone with an interest in violin/viola/piano learning. Also, since I was born and raised in mainland China for fifteen years, I am also able to teach Mandarin.
