Guitar with Michela H.

As a worship leader, Michela’s passion is performing with guitar and voice, both solo and with a full band, at her church in Bentonville. She has several years of experience teaching and working with children of all ages, as well as Homeschooling her own. Carefully assessing each student's playing abilities, she tailors lessons to meet individual needs. Her teaching style is highly interactive, focusing on strumming, fingerpicking, theory, and singing, while getting students excited about learning new songs. Her birthplace is Italy, but she grew up in Switzerland, where she started playing guitar at the age of 12; by the age of 15 she had progressed to playing in various bands. Since coming to the USA in 2004, she has continued to play and teach while learning new techniques to add to her skills. When she is not teaching or performing, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking multicultural foods, and writing songs.
