About Virginia S.
I grew up taking piano lessons and began to truly love it at the age of thirteen. I participated in the Piano Guild as well as several Master class one-on-one settings. I began teaching in college while taking lessons myself. I am now teaching part time and I love what I do.
I place great importance on three areas of piano training.
Ear-training is important,
Sight reading is imperative,
expression is integral,
but a COMBINATION of these three is ideal. And that is what I will try to teach my students. I will teach chords, playing by ear, sight reading, reading notes, musicality and much much more. Please contact me if you are interested in lessons.
