Work on the Craft of Acting with an Award-Winning Actor, experienced in Film, TV, and Theatre

I am an award-winning actor that’s worked in high-profile film, television, and theatre for close to 20 years. When I’m not filming on set or performing in a theater, I live for coaching. I find it to be such an incredibly positive and inspiring environment.

About Vince N.

I moved to New York in 2005 with very little money and absolutely no representation. I quickly landed an agent, and started working professionally immediately. I’ve worked hard, and I’ve made good use of my hard work. I’ve hustled. I’ve struggled. I’ve learned from my successes. And, more importantly, I’ve learned from my failures. I am currently represented by Innovative Artists (agent) and Authentic Talent and Literary Management (manager). My work on camera has been incredibly diverse. I’ve played hitmen, investigators, ventriloquists, scientists, art dealers, French military generals, and British MI5 agents, to name a few parts. I have a good ear for dialects and I’ve appeared on film using a variety of American and British accents. I’ve really had wonderful opportunities to stretch my wings, be it comedy or drama. A highlight, for sure, was winning the Best Actor award at the 2017 L.A. Shorts International Film Festival, for a role in which I played a recovering opiate and heroin addict. Television: I’ve starred as a series regular on a FOX pilot alongside Erin Moriarty (The Boys), directed by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (This Is Us, Jungle Cruise, I Love You Phillip Morris). I’ve recurred on shows alongside Matt Bomer, Lily Collins, Kelsey Grammer, Mark Harmon, Melissa Leo, Adelaide Kane, Radha Mitchell, Goran Visnjik, among a host of many other extremely incredible actors. Television credits: New Amsterdam, The Blacklist, Jack Ryan, Shades of Blue, The Last Tycoon, I’m Dying Up Here, Controversy, NCIS, Castle, Unforgettable, Reign, Red Widow, and Khaki Is Not Leather. Film: Friends With Kids (Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm, Adam Scott, Maya Rudolph, Kristen Wiig). Paint (Olivia Lucardi, François Arnaud) Serenity (Best Actor 2017 L.A. Shorts International Film Festival), directed by 5 time Emmy Award winner Heather Tom (The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, Dynasty) Killing Lincoln, among others. Theatre: I starred alongside Carla Gugino (Watchmen, Night at the Museum, The Haunting of Hill House, Entourage) in the Atlantic Theater Company production of Anatomy of a Suicide, directed by Tony Award nominee Lileana Blain-Cruz. I also had the good fortune of starring alongside Academy Award winner F. Murray Abraham (Amadeus, Scarface, Homeland) in a production of Shakespeare’s The Merchant of Venice in the Royal Shakespeare Company’s (RSC) 2006-2007 Complete Works Festival, in Stratford England. I also have significant experience touring the country. I’ve done two national tours of two different plays. One of them being that same production of The Merchant of Venice. The other was the Broadway National Tour of Million Dollar Quartet, in which I portrayed legendary Sun Records owner Sam Phillips, for over 300 performances. My aim is help the actor to feel free and available to play. To adventure with the material. To embrace being a detective. I love investigating the text. I’m always amazed at the endless amounts of clues just waiting to be discovered. Whether it’s a monologue, a scene or character you’ve always wanted to work on, a conversation about the business, an upcoming self tape audition, which I have extensive experience dealing with, I’m ready to help. My objective as a coach, quite simply, is to passionately pursue helping you. Let’s have some fun. And let’s get to work.

I love working with Vince as my coach! He is amazing at his craft, fun to work with, always has a positive upbeat attitude and genuinely cares about my progress. Sometimes I have to make sure I don’t get us off track because he is so pleasant to talk to. Another outstanding benefit of working with Vince is that he goes above and beyond, by sending me scripts, suggestion and thoughts outside of our lessons, which proves to me he really cares about me as a student.

I had the pleasure of working with Vince on an audition awhile back. He is definitely a coach that strengthens the choices you make by diving into the specifics of character and story. I love exploring different aspects of a character when working on material; I’m grateful Vince also has that playful spirit.
