Clarinet with Victoria P.

I am currently 19 years old in college. I started playing clarinet when I was in 6th grade at 11 years old, all the way to my senior year of high school at 18 years old. I also have been playing bass clarinet since I was in 6th grade. I was apart of the marching band at my high school, and my senior year I was Head Drum Major of my school's marching band. I have been apart of college bands for 2 year while in high school, honors band like All-County for 5 years in a row receiving 3rd, 2nd, and 1st chair throughout the years, Tri-State honors band (located in Tallahassee) for 1 year receiving 1st chair, the Frost School of Music honors band (located in Miami) for 1 year receiving 1st chair, and have been apart of the indoor group STRYKE Wynds for 3 seasons. I have performed in front of multiple judges, rating superiors for solos and groups. I also have experience with conducting marching band and concert band. Music has been a huge part of my life, and has defined me as a person. I have always strived to be the best that I could be, and I was the best woodwind player at my school. I have always had a passion for teaching, and I want to share the love and knowledge I have for music with others. My goal is to make my students successful as they can be. I want to teach students who have a passion and drive for music, and hopefully have them keep music in their life whether they pursue a career in music or like to play for fun.
