Masters in Fine Arts, Musical Theatre

Learn to sing with a Broadway star! Join me for voice lessons or musical theatre coaching!

My teaching is focused on self-assurance, self-awareness & self-acceptance. We'll work together to combine the technical skills you need with your personal passion. Musical theatre is about combining acting, singing & dancing into a cohesive performance. So often we study each skill individually, but my studio is about bringing all your skills into alignment so you can nail that audition, perfect that song, or book that job. Your performance is as unique as you are, and I'm on a mission to figure out exactly what you need so I can help you shine!

Hi there! I’m Victoria, and I’m so glad you’re here! I am a Broadway performer, singing teacher and musical theatre coach. My 20 year career on and off Broadway playing leads in multi-million dollar productions such as Elphaba in Wicked, Dyanne in Million Dollar Quartet and Cindy Lou in The Marvelous Wonderettes plus my MFA in Musical Theatre is here for you, to help you set goals and achieve your dreams. I am here to inspire you, lift you up and help you connect to your work in the most meaningful and joyful way possible.  In our sessions we will:
 * Develop your personal performance style * Choose material that feels personal to you * Break down scripts and scores * Establish good vocal habits * Strengthen vocal weaknesses * Discover new roles * Hone your acting skills * Explore acing styles * Infuse your performance with intentional movement * Define your personal brand * Round out your audition book * Foster confidence in live performance * Practice stress management techniques and so much more! At the start of our journey together we will define your goals and make a plan to get you there. You can focus on one aspect of my studio, such as voice lessons, or we can 'go with the flow' and work on different things each session. Either way, I encourage setting long-term goals we can work on together to make a long and lasting change. Are you a student that needs someone to help coach you through auditions or competitions? I got you. It took me more auditions than I can count to get to Broadway. I can coach you through the first moment to the last and help you stand out from the crowd. Are you a musical theatre professional looking to get more work, round out your audition book or make the jump from ensemble to lead? Let's do that. I can help you hone your personal brand from audition material to headshots, strengthen and stretch your voice and work with on your acting skills to help you level up in your career. Are you a singer/songwriter hoping to strengthen your vocal technique or connect better with your audience? I'm here to help. I've studied with some of the top voice teachers in NYC and can help you develop vocal strength and stamina. In my 20 year career as a performer I have sung in arenas, on Broadway, in recording studios, on live TV & more, each one using different performance techniques that I'm happy to share with you. Let me know how I can help you shine!

    Experience

    Elphaba

    Jan, 2006 - Nov, 2007

    Wicked

What an honor to play this amazingly challenging role! I felt like I was learning something new about my voice with every performance. I will never be the same!

    Dyanne

    Jan, 2010 - Jun, 2012

    Million Dollar Quartet

My Broadway debut! I'll never forget the feeling of walking on to that stage for the first time with a live audience. All the years of hard work had finally paid off!

    CIndyLou

    Jun, 2008 - May, 2009

    The Marvelous Wonderettes

My first Original Cast Album recording! This show is so fun and sincere. I sang right in the middle of my range, which was so challenging. I usually sing the high notes! And it was so fun to play the mean girl, even though I never won Prom Queen!
