I have loved singing and the stage since childhood. In addition to a variety of engagements as a musical director and vocal coach, I've been fortunate to perform alongside Broadway legends on theatre and cabaret stages. In addition to NYC and regional theatre, I've been featured in a number of shows at Disneyland, and have been a professional holiday caroler for over a decade. I'm the soprano for award-winning vocal quintet Marquee Five, recently described as “Manhattan Transfer for the new millennium.” You can hear me on Marquee Five’s debut CD “8-Track Throwback.” I hold a BA in Music (Voice) from UCLA and a MFA in Theater (Acting) from Brooklyn College. When not performing, I teach private voice and piano in my Maplewood, NJ home and spend time with my husband, two kids, two cats, and our dog. In our lessons, students can expect an individualized approach. We work together to expand your range, refine musicality and phrasing, increase power and versatility, and bring songs to life with thoughtful emotional connection. It has been my privilege to work with singers that run the gamut from absolute beginners to Broadway veterans and successful recording artists, as well as younger singers who have gone on to land roles in both student and professional productions. The only prerequisite for our work is a love of singing - the rest we can do together!
