I cater to the individual needs of each student. I believe basics and fundamentals can be taught in a variety of styles. If the repertoire is pleasing to the student, he or she will have a lasting desire to play piano and create music. In lessons, we’ll have fun while learning.

Piano lessons should be fun and educational at the same time. With me as a teacher, you’ll learn fundamentals that will allow you to create music for years to come rather than simply learning songs. I believe it’s improtant for students to learn theory and note-reading so they aren’t limited to what they can play in the years to come. Any style of music can be used to teach the basics.

At five years old, our son began piano lessons with Tricia. A few years later, when little brother turned five, he also began with Mrs. Tricia. Tricia has such a unique gift of taking music theory and making it meaningful, relatable and fun. She captured our boys’ attention with her fun approach and then she captured our hearts with her passion for her students and their musical interests. 

Mrs. Tricia soon became well known in town for her creative and fun approach to teaching the basics and beyond. Mrs. Tricia is so much more than a music teacher. She is an incredible role model and mentor for her students. “
