My name is Trevor Wells. I have been playing trumpet since I was 11 Years old. I am currently a Senior at the Manhattan School of Music, under the tutelage of Mark Gould (Former Principal Trumpet of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra). I have played in the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra, the Bowdoin International Festival Orchestra and the New England Philharmonic.
My goal with trumpet lessons is to enhance the student's musicality and as well as their extra-musical skills. I have developed a program that works on life skills (organization, work ethic, attention to detail) that are useful beyond the concert hall. I try to push my students to excel at trumpet and in their non musical pursuits.
I focus on building up fundamentals as well as the students overall musicianship in order for them to have a solid foundation on which to create music and to uncover the things hindering the student from beautiful music making.
I look forward to working with you!
