    Have you ever taken a school audition? Struggled with nerves? Learn to overcome them with me

    I am a professional trumpeter located in Oregon with a masters degree in trumpet performance from the University of Delaware. I have played trumpet for the Dover symphony as well as the Jimmy McConnell Super Big Band. I have been teaching for over 6 years with students achieving state ensemble placements as well as advancing to the top stops of their schools ensemblese. When you take lessons with me, you will learn how to take auditions, learn skills to overcome anxiety fear and nerves. You will learn what to expect in any type of audition. These lessons are really beneficial for people of all ages. For beginners I use the Robert Winslow's "A Musical Approach" and a self made set of pieces. For intermediate and advanced students I focus the Majority of my time working out of the Arban book As well, I start working on Solo music that fits the students ability.

    I am a professional trumpet player. I have played lead trumpet with the Jimmy McConnell Super Big Band, Lead player at Biola University Jazz ensemble. Principle in Biola Universities orchestra and wind ensemble for 2 years. I currently have my Bachelors of Music in Performance from Biola University and a Masters in Music performance from the University of Delaware. My trumpet students should expect to improve weekly in instrumental techniques, range, sight reading abilities, soloistic playing and endurance. Students will also receive musical theory information regarding literature the student is working on.
