    About Trent P.

For the past decade I have been performing with the U.S. Navy Music Program in places like Australia, Japan, Costa Rica, New Orleans, and Norfolk, Virginia. I've been a featured soloist on clarinet and saxophone with concert bands, jazz bands, rock groups, and brass bands. Before joining the Navy I taught band and woodwind classes for a public school in Northeast Ohio. I'm excited to begin working with students in Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. You can expect to learn the fundamentals of your instrument that will help you perform any kind of music, and receive custom-made lessons designed to help you grow as a musician. I make sure my students learn something new in each lesson, and experience success with weekly lesson goals that are practical and achievable. Using my training and experience as an educator and performer, I focus on helping beginning students start with a solid foundation, and intermediate students develop their abilities as they grow and learn. Parents and students can expect a professional demeanor, and clear communication about all aspects of my methods and availability. Contact me today, let’s begin making music!
