The International Trumpet Guild is a non-profit organization founded in 1975 to promote communications among trumpet  players around the world and to improve the artistic level of performance,  teaching, and literature associated with the trumpet.

For the last half-century the members of Texas Bandmasters Association have worked diligently to further the cause of instrumental music education in communities throughout the Lone Star State. As a professional service organization, TBA reaches out through its membership to constantly improve the quality of music education in Texas' elementary, middle and high schools, colleges and universities.

You are the center of the universe. We'll start right where you are and go anywhere you want to go. Beginner or advanced, hobbyist, gigging pro or comeback player in any contemporary genre, I can help you improve your playing, increase range and endurance and understand the musical aspects of your favorite songs. Want to play out but nervous? We can discuss eliminating stage anxiety (good for public speaking, too) and how to win over your audience.

I started as a student on piano when I was 8 and trumpet when I was 10. I've been a student ever since. That's a very long time. And what I learned as a student makes me a better teacher. I never stop learning and growing and striving to get better. Why? Because it's fun! I'd like to share that joy of learning and growth with you. Music, all the arts, really, are a joy. They make life worth living and overlap with the practical things we "have" to do. So c'mon, let's have fun.

Tony is a great trumpet player with lots of experience to share. We've had multiple SKYPE lessons using the online format and he is dependable, punctual and articulate. Easy scheduling, etc. Plus, he's a straight-up cool, laid-back guy. You'll enjoy your time studying with Tony and gets a lot of practical (and practice-able) info during your lessons.
