Music is all I do in my life! There has never been anything else. I have started my musical education at the age of 7 and continued until today. I hold a BM degree from percussion performance and composition from the prestigious Eastman School of Music. After that I got my MM in percussion performance from Manhattan School of Music and MA in composition at Wesleyan University. Now I'm a PhD candidate in composition at the University at Buffalo. I have studied with some of the most amazing musicians over the years and won many prizes on international percussion and composition competitions all over the world. I have given solo, chamber and orchestral concerts in both Americas, Europe and Asia. However, most importantly, I am lucky to be in love with music unconditionally in its varied forms hence my long and varied musical education and experience. I also very much enjoy teaching. I have taught private lessons on percussion instruments and composition for many years and have been appointed teaching assistant in US universities. Right now I'm a teaching assistant at University at Buffalo teaching music theory, aural skills and basic keyboard technique. I have always had good rapport with my students, many of which became my friends for years to come. I have always enjoyed the various interactions I had with my students and it has always been a tremendously instructive experience for me (and hopefully for them as well). I look forward to teach you some important skills that will help you with your musical endeavors and to expose you to my enthusiasm for making music that will hopefully set an example of how beautiful and rewarding the life of a musician can be.
