Violin with Tom Y.

My teaching experience includes 10 years of private teaching as well as several teaching posts with the Juilliard Pre-college program, Aspen Music Festival, and University of Colorado. As a violinist, I've performed in various constellations in North America, Europe, and Asia as concertmaster of the Moritzburg Festival Orchestra in Germany, Pacific Music Festival in Japan, and the Sarasota Festival Orchestra. I hold a bachelor’s degree from The University of California, Santa Barbara and a master’s degree from the Juilliard School where I served as associate concertmaster of the Juilliard Orchestra. I was a founding member of the Ajax Quartet which up until recently served as the graduate string quartet in residence at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Locally, I regularly perform with Boulder Bach Festival and Boulder Chamber Orchestra and I'm also a substitute violinist with the New World Symphony in Miami!
