    About TITUS G.

A Saxophonist and vocalist. Titus grew up playing and singing in his hometown church in South Carolina where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the historic Claflin University, studing Classical Saxophone under Bryson Borgstedt. After graduation, he moved to North Carolina earning a Master's of Music in Jazz Studies from North Carolina Central University. While there he studied with Brian Horton, Joey Calderazzo, and Branford Marsalis to name a few. Titus brings over a decade of teaching experience ranging from private lessons to teaching middle school Band and Orchestra in the public school system. Today Titus has music on all music platforms and is currently working on an Ep release. "It's so rewarding when you see the fruit of your hard work." "My lessons are for students who want to make progress and are committed to the journey." When you take lessons with Titus, a percentage of your fee will go to supporting children who need help paying for music lessons and instruments. This work is done through Titus' Non-profit called the Gant School of Music and Jazz.
