Not only will you be playing songs in no time, but you will be building a strong foundation of note reading, music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and more. Let's get started!

My name is Tim and I'm a guitar teacher in Lincoln. People tell me I have a real knack for helping people learn the guitar when they can't seem to make any progress on their own. Learning how to play the guitar doesn't have to be a traumatic experience!

I am a retired professor / consultant and have been taking acoustic guitar lessons from Tim for six years.  I began as a brand new student with no background concerning the guitar but do have a background in voice and instrumental music (piano and saxophone) as a youth.  As a subject matter resource, Tim is an individual that is exceptionally knowledgeable.  He has excellent experience in the world of guitars: from the point of view as a luthier, to knowing and understanding the intricacies of a stringed instrument, to having a superb ability as as teacher.   As an individual, Tim's personality is one that comfortably guides students and is supportive of them.  And, his teaching style is all done with good sense of humor.  I am fully confident in Tim as a teacher and without hesitation highly recommend him to students seeking musical instruction in guitars.
