As an teacher/Instuctor: I believe it is important students feel they can communicate openly and honestly during lessons. As with many learning processes, singing requires practice, patience, determination, and enthusiasm! As a singer/performer: I enjoy singing in a variety of 'classical' genres including Opera, Art Song, Early Music, and Broadway. Background: Originally I'm from Columbus Ohio. I obtained a Bachelor of Music at Ohio University, and a Master of Music at Texas Tech University. When not singing or teaching, I enjoy tai chi, meditation, making natural soap, cats, and being outdoors in nature.
