My name is Tia and I am a private piano instructor, accompanist, and classical/jazz event musician in the DC/Northern VA area. I am a classically trained pianist with a B.A. in Music Business with a piano concentration, and am passionate about teaching piano and helping others enjoy it as much as I do. I have taught piano lessons for the past 8 years, accompanied for 4 years, and played wedding, graduation, and dinner party gigs for 5 years. I have worked in positions with various orchestras, and enjoy playing keyboard with other musicians.
