As a professional musician, I have a wealth of experience in the academic, performing, and pedagogical arts. I have performed in many of America’s great churches, cathedrals, auditoriums and concert halls. I hold three degrees in music (Bachelor's: Oberlin Conservatory of Music; Master's: Yale University School of Music; Doctorate: University of Washington). As an organist, I am represented on seven professionally recorded albums. As an author, I have written scholarly articles on music. I am a conductor, singer, teacher, and seasoned accompanist at the keyboard (piano, organ, harpsichord). I have composed solo works for piano and organ, art song, anthems for choirs, and two large-scale choral works.
