My name is Ted Cherney. I received a Bachelors Degree of Music from the University of Delaware for Music Education. There I studied voice and piano and learned how to make the most of my musical instruction time. Currently I'm a public school music teacher in Hudson County, NJ. I teach Choir, Band, Orchestra, and General Music to grades PreK-12. I've been teaching voice, piano, and guitar lessons for 5 years and love it. My students love me because I'm an energetic and funny guy who knows how to make music fun. Parents love me because I'm responsible, fun, and know how to get results. I studied the Music Learning Theory in college and am confident that I teach anyone. Learning the basics of an instrument can be very challenging so it's important that you find someone who knows how to make their students the best they can be!
