Music Theory with Theo L.

I'm a professional composer, pianist and drummer with a Bachelor of Music from William Paterson University. I've been teaching for 10+ years to a wide-ranging group of students. My aims as a teacher are similar to my aims as a musician--to foster creativity, lay down a strong foundation, and build a framework for listening. That's accomplished in different ways for different instruments, but the fundamentals remain the same and are a major part of my, and any, teaching curriculum. Core subjects include technique, music theory, sight-reading, melody, harmony, rhythm, and syncopation. Lessons are catered to the student's needs/goals, beginner to advanced, all ages welcome!
