With over ten years experience teaching music, I have worked through all sorts of technical and educational issues with students. Anything that you’re struggling with in your playing, or even if you’re just starting out I have the proven experience and competence to help you navigate your instrument. I can prepare you for shows or auditions, or just help you begin to fine tune your abilities. I use a traditional methodology, Hal Leonard, to give students visible structure that they are progressing through and can measure their progress by quickly revisiting previous songs. I like to introduce students to additional concepts beyond the books to help them make sense of what they’re playing. Theory, scales, and technique are smaller, but regular components of education with me. If you have a song you want to learn or an artist that you want to study, you’ve come to the right place.
