These violin lessons are specifically designed for all levels and ages. While we have weekly lessons, these meetings are a part of a lifestyle. I care deeply about each one of my student’s interests and daily lives. We use the violin as a tool to enrich our lives musically, emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. By supporting each student as a unique person I help cultivate their individual strengths and interests. We strive to promote curiosity, well-roundedness, and a sense of community to develop a solid foundation as a musician. While enrolled in my studio, students will find a stimulating environment to explore their potential. In return, I expect a high level of commitment which starts with daily practice. Each one of my students has a weekly personalized chart for their practice and a journal to write down their thoughts and questions which I respond to. Practicing is where progress is made. Each student has goals that are set at the beginning of each term. They are not set in stone and can be revised by the teacher. They can also be altered as the student matures and progresses. Together we must have high musical standards of playing and expect ourselves to give our best at home and in lessons. I want each one of my students to love playing the violin and experience a life with passion, joy, and confidence. Lessons are offered in person in Montréal or online via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime.
