I am an accomplished professional singer. I teach all styles of music from classical to music theater to pop. I have a doctoral degree in Vocal Performance and I am an excellent pianist. I work with singers at all levels...from complete beginner thru professional. Although I am a classically trained operatic tenor, I once sang back-up vocals for pop star Billy Joel. Dr. Ferranti is an amazing teacher. He is professional, extremely talented himself at singing and piano and able to assist any student (whether young or old) in finding and fine tuning their vocal capacity. I studied privately with Dr. Ferranti for over three years and the transformation in my voice was duly noted by other professional teachers I had in the past. He is versatile, encouraging, patient, kind and above all extremely wise in how to teach each individual student. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking :THE BEST" vocal teacher they may ever find.

Dr. Taylor is an amazing instructor! His own vocal and piano skills are first class and he has a kind, relaxed, and approachable teaching style. I took up instruction to prepare for musical theatre auditions, but have since learned more about the technical aspects of vocology than from any other instructor. Would not hesitate to recommend!

My teenage son enjoys singing and participates in musicals. He also has interest in competitions, and he is even considering the pursuit of music study at the collegiate level. As such I wanted to find a top notch teacher for him to enhance his skills, and I was pleased to come across Taylor.

Taylor has an educational background in music that is beyond reproach, and he is an accomplished singing professional who also plays the piano. His understanding of the human voice is astounding. Add to that his enthusiasm for teaching and kind demeanor, and the result is an excellent teacher. My son is making great strides thanks to Taylor, and he really looks forward to lessons. We couldn't be happier. If you're serious about singing we would highly recommend you study with Taylor.

Taking lessons with Doctor Ferranti was an awesome experience. He is so learned in a plethora of different voice styles and they don't call him a doctor for nothing! Taking lessons with him, I've learned the biology behind singing, and it has given me a new found appreciation for this craft. He is an extremely versatile teacher who teaches all ages! I would come for my lessons and see his last students ranging from ages twice my age to teens who were just like me! He maintains an organized feel of the class while still giving breathing room for you to feel free to express yourself and not feel nervous. I began lessons with Taylor to prepare for an audition but am really considering continuing lessons! You won't feel jipped when class is over because the lessons are just long enough to be productive while not getting bored! I really enjoyed lessons and am extremely grateful to have had this experience. I would definitely recommend taking lessons with Taylor. :)

Taylor is an excellent teacher and a true master of his craft! I worked with a few singing teachers prior to Taylor and failed to learn how to sing well with them. I was starting to think that singing just wasn't for me. I started working with Taylor and he instantly and correctly identified what I was doing wrong, developed a custom approach to fixing my voice and building proper vocal technique.

Thanks to Taylor’s teachings me voice has grown and developed tremendously over the past few months. He has helped me develop a proper vocal technique and singing foundation that gives me the ability to sing any style of music I want to. I am now confident that singing is for me!

If you are serious about singing and developing your voice to its truest potential, sign up for lessons with Taylor. He is extremely knowledgeable about the art and science of singing and makes the transfer of knowledge simple, easy and fun. I highly recommend him for beginning to advance students.

Taylor is an incredible teacher. He is very educated in the art of singing, and knows exactly what you need to do to better your voice and sing to your fullest potential. He's a very down to earth person, which really allows you to feel comfortable during the lessons and get the most out of them. He has a strong understanding of the anatomy of the human voice and the underlying concepts of what truly makes a good singer. I've never met someone so talented at not only improving one's singing voice dramatically, but helping you to understand why and how it's improving. I have seen steady progress each week throughout my work with Taylor. I couldn't have asked for a better teacher!
