I am a professional violinist and member of several orchestras in Michigan. I studied at St. Petersburg Conservatory and also have a Doctorate degree in violin performance from Michigan State University. My diverse background allows me to combine best features of Russian and American string schools. I have experience working in different countries (Russia, South Korea, USA) and teaching students of various ages and levels - from 4 year old to adults, and from beginners to advanced levels. My students have successfully prepared for local competitions and have entered music colleges. While I strive to give highest standard of instructions, I have an individual approach to each student, paying close attention to his/her personality and goals. I adjust the intensity of study process depending on student's needs: from relaxing and joyful playing for fun to intense training for those who prepare to enter educational institutions with a music performance degree. I believe, the lessons should always be filled with positive energy and inspiration, because this is what supports us and helps us to grow and improve.

We have been with Tatiana for past 3 years and she teaches my both kids. She is very knowledgeable , flexible and very interested to teach kids. I would recommend her highly to any one interested in learning violin.
Tatiana is an excellent instructor and I am a 68 yr old violin hobbyist who is trying to learn classical music and folk music to eventually become a part time teacher myself. She is very patient and pleasant and I am a former teacher myself in grades 5 - 9. I believe she would be good for any age(s) ! She is great with technique and knowing what the student wants to accomplish and is interested in with their musical interests She is just a very pleasant person to know and get guidance musically from! I recommend her highly!
