Like many musicians, Tanner began creating and producing original music as a young teenager. He began learning AVID Pro Tools, the industry-standard recording software while attending numerous Grammy Camps and is now considered an expert with the program. He developed an extensive knowledge of audio engineering principles and techniques through his formal education at the Los Angeles Recording School, other specialized training, and his own experimentation and professional experience. Technical knowledge is just a small part of a sound engineer’s job. Tanner has a thorough understanding of how to capture all types of musical styles, genres, instruments, and vocals. But most importantly, Tanner loves the ebb and flow of collaboration with artists and producers to help them realize their creative goals.
