    Sing because it's good for your health

    I teach you because you love and want to sing. Not because you want to be on Broadway or win a record deal. That's great if you want that and you can certainly learn a lot from me, however, at this stage in my career I wish to teach those who want to sing to improve their wellbeing and uplift their spirits through the exhilaration of making a joyful noise. I teach online group classes for social connection and self-care and my lessons are part voice instruction and part sing along using healthful techniques and great songs that leave you feeling rejuvenated.

    About Susan W.

    Sue is an accomplished and professional Singer and longtime Vocal Teacher who is certified in the Somatic Voicework Lovetri Method under the tutelage of the world famous Singing Specialist Jeannie Lovetri who currently coaches mega star Adele. She has also studied the McClosky technique with Soprano Bonnie Pomfret who is a Master Teacher from the McClosky Institute of Voice. Coach Sue has sang roles in Opera and Musical Theatre and has sang as a Jazz and Cabaret Soloist in clubs, theatres, auditoriums, festivals, libraries, hotels, and halls all over the United States and the Caribbean. Sue has been a Voice and Drama Teacher in New York City and New Orleans public schools and has worked as a Teaching Artist on Broadway coaching aspiring Musical Theatre students. Her specialty is keeping the voice strong, resonant, and ready to sing with a focus on healthy singing and also singing for wellness and joy because you just have to, love to, want to sing!. She also concentrates on techniques that preserve the longevity of the Voice as she believes that you can and should sound wonderful for a hundred years as there are so many songs to sing.
