I am a lifelong student of many subjects. My approach to teaching is one of patience and enthusiasm. I do my best to understand the student's learning style and teach accordingly.
I have been a professional actor, model, and singer for 10 years. I specialize in on-camera acting for TV commercials, industrial video, and host. Most of the modeling I've done is commercial print and live promotional modeling. I've taught group acting classes to kids ages 6-17, including on-camera auditioning, stage directions, script analysis, and business skills (headshot/resume, finding an agent, industry terms, etc.).
My singing experience includes pop, musical theatre, and jazz. I've coached students who believed they were hopeless, and they were pleased to discover their gifts and see growth!
I am a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200) and have taught for 3 years, both group classes and privately.
I minored in French in college and tutored beginning French.
My motto: Never stop learning!
I have taught yoga privately, as well as in a group setting. Studios include Footprints Yoga (Denver), Actasana Acting Studio & Theatre (Denver), Crossfit Lapeer (Michigan), Elga Credit Union (Michigan), and Fun 2B Fit Zumba Studio (Michigan).
Over 30 spots on-camera in TV Commercials, Industrial Video, and Hosting, as well as Voice-Over, Print Modeling, and Promotional Modeling.
Lead singer in various pop/rock bands and jazz combos, performing in local venues in the Denver Metro Area.
This is the certification required to teach yoga professionally in Colorado. I earned my certification at Samadhi Center for Yoga in Denver. The focus was on Hatha and Vinyasa Flow, with broad studies including anatomy, yoga philosophy, ayurveda, and sanskrit.+ Read More
Yoga Alliance is the largest nonprofit association representing the yoga community. Our mission is to spread the power of yoga one person at a time.
We believe that the individual experience of yoga is of paramount importance, and are committed to supporting the passage of yoga from trainer to teacher, teacher to student, and student to aspiring yogi. Our role as the national support organization for the yoga community is to ensure that the practice of yoga will keep growing, so that more people will connect with yoga and be transformed. As an organization we keep several core values at heart: service, excellence, transparency, learning and community.
Stacey is very knowledgable on the subject, strong teaching and listening ability, and multi-instrumental with the ability to play piano during lessons. Would recommend highly.
Stacey is very encouraging and starts where the student is. In my case, that is at the lowest beginner level. I look forward to working with her.
Stacey from the very beginning was bright eyed, attentive, present and matched my enthusiasm exactly. I had a wonderful first lesson and cannot wait for next week!
Stacey is incredible! I have been in love with the arts ever since I was little but was always too shy to put myself out there and study music and theater. Stacey really helped me reach out of my comfort zone and pushed me to become the best actress I can be. I felt very comfortable in all of our lessons and she is one of the only people in my life who encourages me to pursue my dreams. Every hour we spent together I learned more about the world of acting and how to audition for roles and find an agent. I highly recommend her!+ Read More
She's amazing! I feel she truly cares about my voice and wants to help my journey as a singer and performer. She explains things so well, it makes singing and music in general easier to understand from a technical perspective. She's also auch a kind person, easy to connect with, so I feel very comfortable singing in front of her! I HIGHLY recommend Stacy!+ Read More
Had first lesson yesterday and feel very comfortable, encouraged and feeling I made the right choice choosing Stacey as my vocal coach
I practiced yoga at a studio where Stacey taught. I should mention I consider myself a beginner and not very yoga savy. She's an excellent teacher. Her technique is simple and easy to follow. Her classes were never the same or boring. She always introduced some new pose and made our class a fun workout. She's attentive to the variety of levels of her students. I always looked forward to yoga practice and highly recommend her!+ Read More
Stacie is a fantastic yoga instructor for all ages! I have taken her classes in studio and in my home. I had her teach a class for my 11 year daughter and her cousins and they loved it! She taught them yoga while building their self esteem. If you are thinking about starting yoga, don't hesitate, Stacie is the instructor for you!+ Read More
Stacey is an AMAZING yoga instructor who truly cares for her students and all aspects of their practice and well-being. She took the time to answer all of my questions. I would highly recommend her for any classes or individual instruction.
Stacey makes learning easy. It's terrifying to take singing lessons when you've never sung in front of anyone in your entire life, she put me at ease and ignored the fact that I was completely embarrassed and encouraged me and made me feel like I was doing a great job. Stacey is very good at instructing, very knowledgeable and I had a blast.+ Read More
I have been taking Yoga lessons with Stacey for several years now, and she is by far the most helpful teacher I have known. She puts a great deal of attention to your own goals, instead of imposing her own agenda.
