Music has always been my way to connect with others -- anywhere in the world. Over the past 2 years, I have grown my piano teaching business from 1 to 45 students. I have taught piano to Burmese refugees in Thailand and to American students in Colorado. I grew up in South Africa, which is where I started playing piano. I quickly became involved in local and national piano competitions until I relocated back to the States. Since then, I continue to play for fun while managing my piano teaching business. Piano is the gateway to other instruments. Once you've mastered it, any other instrument is fair game. I don't work from just one book. I design specific curriculum for each student based on their music preferences and their favorite songs. Whether they want to learn classical music or some modern hip hop, I'm here to make it happen.
