Hello! My name is Socrates. I am a guitarist born in Dominican Republic and raised in Venezuela and I am currently living in the Bronx. I have a minor in Music Theory and I been playing guitar for more than 10 years. My areas of expertise are in latin music but I capable of teaching a variety of styles. My goal as a teacher is to provide and create lifestyle and love for the music in my students in a different perspective by applying the knowledge and experience I possess. I am a believer of progressive learning and its benefits and I would love to apply with my students. Remember! Success comes with practice.
