Hi, my name is Sima. Welcome to my profile. I’m a patient, supportive, and enthusiastic teacher. I believe that everyone is musical and my job (or my passion) is to help you find your own musicality. Whether it’s classical, jazz, Broadway, rock, or your own particular style, the language of music is universal. Includes reading music and improving skills, classical repertory, improvising and learning to use chords, music theory and composing in accordance with the needs of each student. My professional experience is diverse. In addition to teaching, I’ve worked as a pianist/keyboard player, musical director, and recording engineer. I have composed a great deal of music for classical chamber ensembles, theatre, dance and video artists.
